blog # 6

after reading the text i am left with many emotions and feelings about human nature i did not have before.  humans can be evil and terrible people just as much as they can be loving and caring .  Their is not a fine line that divides both , for one reason or another a person can be anywhere on that spectrum.  Life i see as not so defined anymore, through reading i see his troubles and pain and i see Beah learn instead of dying out with no flame left to move on.  The human journey takes many paths and your destiny is made by the desiscions and choices you make along the way , often changing , daily changing with every breath , every thought.  I see now that your path is never paved to go one way , you lay your stones as you move through life.  From this work i will take the lessons into my life , to never judge a book by its cover and to always remember the truth about human nature , never be to trusting but to always give someone the time of day.  Also to live my life one day at a time. A question i have about human nature would be  to what extent does the damage have to be in ones life to excuse them from murder?

  1. Josh,

Interesting question posed; one that we've had. But, in your final essay you decided to pursue the idea of beauty?
